Northwestel Vision 2011

In 2006, Northwestel developed and introduced a five-year vision to carry the company forward through 2011. As our customers’ needs change, we must change our business environment to remain customer-focused.

As the North’s only full service telecommunications provider, Northwestel works to continuously develop and offer innovative services and products, while ensuring that all its customers have access to basic telecommunications services at reasonable rates, comparable to those offered in southern Canada.

As Northwestel moves into the future, our energies will be focused in six main areas – Internet, video, wireless, our customers, our people and operational excellence.

Our key product priorities will be wireless, video and Internet services, while continuing to maintain our more traditional service areas.

Our energies will be focused on ensuring greater customer satisfaction, fully engaging the skills, knowledge and efforts of our employees, and on achieving operational excellence.
