The I-Hotel is a high speed Internet service that is designed to accommodate small to large hospitality venue with download speed starting from 3 Mbps up to 10 Mbps.
The advantage of the service is that it is not build on ADSL, however on Ethernet technology. ADSL, provides limitation on bandwidth and has restriction flow which for large venue could be problematic when many users are downloading and uploading data simultaneously.
This service will add value to a hotel/camp venue due to its reliability, scalability and integration with other data network such as E-MAN or V-Connect. Additionally, the service combined with the wireless LAN product will provide a complete turn key solution for the hospitality market segment.
Service Availability
The service is currently offered in Fort Nelson, Whitehorse, Yellowknife, and Hay River.
