Cellular Telephone Service in Haines Junction

Situation: Cellular telephone service in Haines Junction has been restored. Service was originally interrupted yesterday, Nov. 16 at 11:00am PST and technicians restored service at today at 11:50am PST. This service interruption was caused by an equipment failure.
Actions: Attempts to restore service were delayed due to inclement weather. The site where repairs were needed is only accessible by helicopter in daylight hours. This morning, once weather permitted, technicians flew to the site and restored service.
