Northwestel Launching High Speed Internet in Wha Ti

Northwestel has introduced High Speed Internet service in the Northwest Territories community of Wha Ti. The new service is now available in the community and residents are able to subscribe at any time.
“Our goal at Northwestel is to provide northerners right across our operating area with the best possible service,” said Curtis Shaw, Northwestel Vice President, Consumer and Small Business Markets. “Connecting through the Internet is becoming more and more important for northerners. We are very happy to be able to offer high speed Internet in Wha Ti so the community can enjoy the benefits of Internet services.”
Two residential packages will be available in Wha Ti: DSL Lite, an introductory product perfect for casual web surfing and DSL Classic, with a faster connection suitable for downloading photos and music.
If customers wish to subscribe to the new service, they can contact Northwestel at 1-888-423-2333, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. MT.
Wha Ti is the 11th community in NWT where Northwestel has introduced DSL Internet service. Northwestel is continuing with plans to bring High Speed Internet to Tulita and Tsiigehtchic later this fall.
