Northwestel Supports Scotiabank’s Hockey Day in Canada
Northwestel has committed to support the Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada events in Whitehorse and Dawson this February. Northwestel’s support will include family fun events, video feeds and front row access on Community Cable 9.
“The Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada celebrations are such great, community focused events,” said Paul Flaherty, President and CEO of Northwestel. “We’re really happy to be able to support this celebration in a number of different ways and are looking forward to the festivities that these events will bring.”
Northwestel’s support for Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada includes:
- A hockey carnival at the Canada Games Centre on Feb. 12, with games and fun prizes;
- Prizes for fans at the Dawson Nuggets and Ottawa Senators Alumni rematch in Dawson City; and,
- Airing of the Western Hockey League game and more on Community Cable 9.
