Northwestel Upgrades Fort Nelson Voice Mail
Monday, February 7, 2011
Northwestel increased the quality of their voice mail service by completing the Fort Nelson portion of a $1.6 million voice mail improvement project. Fort Nelson voice mail is now operating on a new soft ware system.
“The changes were made to ensure that we can continue to offer our customers the highest quality service possible,” said Paul Flaherty, President and CEO of Northwestel. “We appreciate the patience our Fort Nelson customers have shown during this upgrading process.”
This replacement project is part of Northwestel’s ongoing efforts to improve, upgrade and expand the services available in Fort Nelson.
Northwestel would like to remind customers that the access number for voice mail is 250-774-6245. Customers should no longer be using 250-233-3000.
Northwestel provides complete telecommunications solutions and entertainment services in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon, northern British Columbia and High Level, Alberta. The company’s operations span nearly 4 million square kilometres of the most remote and rugged areas of Canada.
