Photo Opportunity to Honour First Iqaluit Participants in Northwestel Directory Recycling Program

Iqaluit news media are invited to attend an event at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at École des Trois Soleils in Iqaluit.
There will be a photo opportunity with students and teachers at the school to celebrate the expansion of the Northwestel Directory Recycling Program to Iqaluit this year. Also in attendance will be Northwestel President and Chief Executive Officer Paul Flaherty and Northwestel General Manager for Nunavut Joe Manoll.
In total, five Iqaluit schools are taking part in the directory recycling program: École des Trois Soleils, Inuksuk High School, Joamie Ilinniarvik School, Nakasuk School and Nanook School (Apex).
A news release will be issued in early June, summarizing the results of the annual directory recycling program in Iqaluit.
