Community TV Operating Policies
How to submit your Video Content
If you would like to submit your own content to Community TV, please download the Production Release Form that must accompany all submissions. All video must be submitted according to the formatting outlined in the document Northwestel Community TV Video Submission Formatting to ensure the correct digital video file formatting is used that our channels require.
Cable 9 Production Release / Cable 20 Production Release
How to submit your Music Content
Northwestel Community TV encourages music submissions from northern artists. All music is added to our production library for use in internal productions and made available to independent producers creating content for the channel. Northwestel reports all music usage to SOCAN and the requisite fees are paid to all artists who are registered with that organization.
Submission Procedure
Videos must be submitted on disc according to the specs outlined in the document Community TV Video Submission Formatting
Music can be submitted in CD format. All discs will become the property of Community TV and will not be returned.
Please drop us off any video or music on discs at our Community Cable offices at the following locations Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm:
Whitehorse: 203-4103 4th Ave, in the former WHTV location upstairs next to CKRW.
Yellowknife: 5120-49th St, in the Northwestel Retail Centre. All submissions can be mailed to the following address:
