What if the person that I am trying to link in does not answer the phone?
If you hit the Link key again, you will rejoin the first caller and disconnect the third party.
How does 3-Way Calling work in the case of long distance calls or callers in different communities?
The capability to link callers in different communities that require long distance dialing depends on the switching equipment in your community.
Subscribers in the following communities can connect up to two long distance calls in a three-way call:

Northwest Territories |
In all other communities where 3-Way Calling is available, only one long distance number may be included in a three-way call.
