Call Wakeup FAQ

I have multiple phone lines. Will Call Wakeup be programmed on all of my lines?

Yes. Call Wakeup will be programmed on all of your lines.

What happens to the wake-up call if I have Voice Mail on my line?

A wake-up call will not go to Voice Mail. The phone will continue to ring until the call is answered, for up to five rings.

What if I have an answering machine on my line?

If you have programmed your answering machine to pick up calls before five rings, the wake-up call will be automatically forwarded to your answering machine after the specified number of rings.

I have a display phone and subscribe to Call Display. What will appear on my display when I receive a wake-up call?

"No Data" will appear on your display.

Can I use Call Wakeup on my Smart Ring number?

No, Call Wakeup requests will only work on main numbers. Smart Ring is simply a feature of your main number.

What if my phone is busy at the time of the wake-up call?

You will be called two more times at 5-minute intervals. After the third attempt Call Wakeup is deactivated.

How far in advance can I set a wake-up call?

You can set a wake-up call up to 23 hours and 45 minutes in advance.

Can I program multiple wake-up calls at one time, or program a wake-up call for the same time each day?

No, only one wake-up call can be programmed on the line at a time.

Can I program Call Wakeup from another phone line?

No, the Call Wakeup request may only be programmed from the line that has the feature.
