How do I set my fax machine to work with Smart Ring so it doesn't pick up before I answer the phone?

Set your fax to answer on 4 or more rings, or it will pick up the calls before you can get to phone.

Can I request the specific phone number for my Smart Ring number?

You can request a specific number; however it may already be in use or not available.

Where does the Smart Ring number show up in the directory?

The Smart Ring number will be listed on an indented line, under the main number listing. You may choose the name you wish to appear beside the Smart Ring number.

What happens if a caller dials my Smart Ring number, and my main number has Voice Mail?

The call is directed to the main Voice Mail box.
