Estimate your Usage
Welcome to the Northwestel Usage Estimator - a handy tool to help you estimate how much bandwidth you use on a regular basis.
To use, choose the unit of measure (a day, a week, a month) in each category that applies to your usage. Slide the box along the bar to show your estimated usage. For example, if you watch an hour of TV online each night, choose the measurement “a week” and slide the box to measure 7 hours. Or, if you play an online game for three hours a night, choose the “a day” measurement options and slide the box to measure three hours.
NOTE: the usage amounts you enter will be multiplied to represent the total monthly usage.
As you add more usage, the total bar at the top will tally all the categories and give you a total estimate.
These amounts are based on averages and may change depending on the specific program, game, website, etc. that you are using.
Internet packages vary by location. This estimator is not intended to track usage, it is designed to help provide an estimate of monthly usage amounts. To check your actual usage for this month, use our free Check your Usage tool.
