Connecting the North in New Ways

Our vision is of a highly connected North where Canadians can prosper and thrive. In 2017, we took some big steps to get there - launching faster consumer Internet in major centres and turning up Canada’s first fibre link to the Arctic Circle.

With support from the Government of Canada, this project will bring higher capacity Internet to every community in Nunavut by 2019. See Map

Fibre to the Home Pilot

This pilot project saw more than 200 homes in the Whitehorse neighbourhood of Porter Creek become linked directly to a fibre line for more reliable service.
