How to reinstall the Northwestel TV Plus app on your box after a factory reset

This article describes how to reinstall the Northwestel TV Plus app on your Northwestel TV Plus box after a factory reset.

In certain scenarios, you may be instructed by Northwestel to reset your box to its factory default settings. This is called a factory reset. A factory reset erases all data from the box’s internal storage. System and app data and settings, including the Northwestel TV Plus app, are deleted. After a factory reset, you’ll need to reinstall the app on the box.

Important: You should only do a factory reset if you’re asked to do so by Northwestel.

1

On your remote, press the Google Play button to open the Google Play Store.

2

Search for Northwestel TV Plus, and then under Device, select EVOPRO to download and install the app on the box.

3

After the app is installed, log in using your Northwestel account username and password

1

Use your remote to go to Account Settings (the person icon) in the upper-right corner of the app, and then choose About.

2

On the About screen, select Restore Application Defaults.

3

In the Allow USB debugging message that’s displayed on the screen, select the Always allow from this computer check box, and then choose Allow.
