Installation fees There are two installation options available.
Technician installation: $186.89 A technician will come to your home to set up your Internet. The installation fee includes the cost for order processing, the site visit, line connection and site work.
Self-installation: $86.61 [Whitehorse and Yellowknife only] If your home has been connected to services in the last 2 years and is within an area that offers cable Internet, you can set up your Internet connection yourself. The installation fee includes the cost for line connection and order processing.
Access speeds will vary depending on the distance between the customer’s modem and switching equipment from Northwestel. Download access speed min. 10 Mbps and max. 15 Mbps. Upload access speed min. 1 Mbps and max. 2 Mbps. Actual speeds experienced on the Internet may vary with customer's configuration, Internet traffic, server, satellite transport, environmental conditions, or other factors. The Bundle Program is available to existing Northwestel customers who have active residential services as of August 1, 2016. Any portion of the Northwestel Better Bundle Program may be modified, discontinued, or terminated at any time. The TV Lite package is not an eligible service for the Bundle Program.
