Network improvements involving brief service disruption - Yellowknife, NT
From August through December, network improvement work will involve a one-time service disruption of up to two hours. Day and time will vary for individual customers.
As part of a $3 million, multi-phase network upgrade in Yellowknife to more than double internet capacity and improve service quality, customers may experience a brief, daytime service disruption of up to two hours.
Service disruptions are limited in scope, typically affecting individual streets or portions of a neighbourhood, with fewer than 200 customers impacted during any outage window. We expect this phase of the project to be completed by year-end, with the final stage of the upgrade scheduled for next year. We appreciate customers’ patience as we complete these important improvements.
Expected duration: Up to 2 hours
Services impacted: Internet, TV, and cable home phone. For customers with cable home phone, this will impact your ability to call 911.
