Suspending your services

You can temporarily suspend your services without having to return your equipment or cancel your account. For example, you may want to do this if you’re going away on vacation.

The process and amount of time for which you can suspend your services varies depending on the services you have.

When you suspend a service, you won’t be able to access or use that service.

  • Internet: You won’t have access to the internet. Your email address will continue to work and you can access your email through another internet connection.
  • TV: You won’t be able to watch or record TV shows.
  • Phone: You won’t be able to make calls, receive calls, or use calling features, including Voicemail.

All suspends have a minimum time of 1 month and come with associated costs.

Internet:

  • Costs $10/ Month 
  • No fee to suspend or restore
  • Internet can be suspended for 6 months before it is reactivated. Must be active 1 month before being re suspended.

Cable TV (cant seasonal suspend TV Plus as it is requires internet):

  • No recurring cost to suspend
  • No cost to suspend or restore
  • Minimum of 1 month, maximum of 6 months in a 12 month period

Phone:

  • Cost - 50% phone cost ongoing. We continue to charge half the phones recurring value to keep the number vacant. 
  • Charge to suspend
  • Charge to restore
