A look at Bell Let's Talk Day 2022 across the North

From Iqaluit, Nunavut to Whitehorse, Yukon; we joined in the world’s largest conversation about mental health with Bell Let’s Talk Day. We thank you for taking part too!

Together, Canadians and people around the world set all-new records for engagement in the mental health conversation on Bell Let’s Talk Day 2022, sharing 164,298,820 messages of support and driving $8,214,941 in new mental health funding by Bell. Thank you for listening, talking and being there for each other!

Here’s a look at how our team joined the conversation January 26 to help reduce the stigma around mental health and support our communities.

Strongest Families Institute partnership

We're proud to announce our partnership with Bell Let's Talk and the Yukon Government to launch the Strongest Families Institute’s mental health program in Yukon. With a combined gift of $370,000, this program will support approximately 400 at-risk children, youth, adults, and families across the territory.

We are so proud to collaborate with the Strongest Families Institute in breaking down barriers to mental health support in the territory. Northwestel has over 300 employees who call Yukon home and this partnership will have a lasting impact on our families and our communities. We extend our thanks to Bell Let's Talk, the Government of Yukon and SFI for continuing to help create a meaningful difference in the lives of people living with mental health challenges.- Curtis Shaw, Northwestel President
