Updates to Northwestel Webmail
We’re pleased to let you know that several important security enhancements to your Northwestel Webmail account are now live. These updates are designed to strengthen your account security and give you more control over your login and email management.
Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of protection to your Northwestel Webmail account by requiring a second verification step when you sign in. This helps keep your information secure, even if your password is compromised.

To reset your password, you must have set up MultiFactor Authentication (MFA) for Northwestel Webmail using at least one of the following methods:
- A secondary email address
- A registered Mobile Authenticator app
These are required to verify your identity during the reset process.

Northwestel uses Barracuda Email Gateway Defense (EGD) to protect your inbox from spam, phishing attempts, and other unwanted messages. When a message is identified as suspicious, it is placed in quarantine rather than delivered to your inbox.
